10 Great AIP Breakfast Recipes for Hashimoto's

Without gluten and eggs (at least egg yolks), it can be hard to reimagine breakfast with Hashimoto's! But never fear, there are plenty of options that are delish!

  1. Sweet potato and apple hash: sauté diced sweet potato and apple with coconut oil and cinnamon until tender.
  2. Coconut yogurt with berries: mix coconut yogurt with fresh berries and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Turkey and vegetable stir-fry: sauté ground turkey with diced vegetables like zucchini, bell pepper, and onion.
  4. Beef and broccoli skillet: cook ground beef with broccoli and season with garlic, ginger, and coconut aminos.
  5. Plantain pancakes: mash ripe plantains and cook in coconut oil until golden brown.
  6. Breakfast bowl: layer cooked cauliflower rice with cooked ground meat, diced avocado, and sliced cucumber.
  7. Green smoothie: blend together spinach, avocado, cucumber, and coconut milk for a nutrient-packed breakfast smoothie.
  8. AIP-friendly granola: mix together coconut flakes, pumpkin seeds, and raisins with coconut oil and honey and bake until crispy.
