🍤 Tacos de Camarónes Recipe, New Podcast Episodes & More | Hashimoto's Lifestyle Updates 🌟
Hello!
I hope this newsletter finds you well and thriving. My name is Ellen Steinke, the voice behind the Hashimoto's Lifestyle Instagram, Podcast, and (of course) this Newsletter.
This week, I've got a special treat for you - my very own Hashimoto's-friendly recipe for shrimp tacos aka Tacos de Camarónes! It's delicious, easy to make, and most importantly, simpatico on your thyroid. Here's how you can whip up this dish:
- Sauté shrimp in olive oil, salt, paprika, and chili powder. Let 'em get sit in the pan and get real crispy on each side.
- Place your cooked shrimp on a gluten-free tortilla. You can use cassava or corn tortillas based on your preference.
- Top it with a fresh Asian salad mix. For a twist, try adding some Korean BBQ sauce (optional).
Give this recipe a go and if you enjoy it, don't hesitate to share it with others who might find it helpful. Sharing is caring, after all!
In other news, the Hashimoto's Lifestyle Podcast has some exciting new episodes for you.
The most recent episodes are
- "Is Testing for Reverse T3 Helpful or a Waste of Time?" and I strongly believe it's a great listen for anyone seeking to understand the complexities of thyroid function tests.
- "Can You Eat Broccoli, Kale, and Cauliflower Rice with Hashimoto's?", which explores the debated subject of cruciferous vegetables in the diet of those with Hashimoto's.
